The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Senior Engineer or Architect to take a leading role in defining system behaviour and architecture for a sophisticated product platform. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you'll guide technical decisions, manage risk, and ensure system-level performance.
Perfect for an experienced engineer ready to step into a more strategic, cross-functional role.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own and define key system functionality, including layout, safety, and BOM.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture plans.
* Support design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-functional delivery.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality and resolve technical issues.
What You’ll Bring
Essentials:
* Experience in complex system or instrumentation design.
* Experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Skilled in technical documentation, PLM, and change control.
* Strong communicator in technical English.
Desirables:
* Background in motion systems, optics, robotics, or similar technologies.
* Experience in high-precision tools or environments (e.g. advanced manufacturing).
Education:
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
