Are you an enthusiastic professional with a knack for managing finances and building strong customer relationships? Our client is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant office located in Chadderton, just a convenient 10-minute walk from a tram station!
What You'll Do:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing credit control through emails and phone calls
* Proactively chasing payments from customers
* Engaging with customers to discuss their accounts
* Updating systems and spreadsheets with accuracy
* Sending timely payment reminders
* Negotiating payment plans that work for both the organisation and the customer
* Handling general invoicing
* Producing insightful reports to track payment trends and outstanding balances
