We’re searching for a passionate Area Training Manager.

The Area Training Manager will specialize inhospitality and be passionate about training others and helping the businessgrow. You will work alongside the Operations Managers, Learning and DevelopmentTeam, and General Managers to develop a network of restaurant, reception, bar,and runner-in-store trainers who are motivated, passionate people who want tocoach and develop team members in their future careers. You will identifytraining and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives thatbuild experts in our business.
Core Activity;
1. Implement and manage training for FOH roles inour restaurant
2. Responsible for identifying and assessing thetraining needs of the sites
3. Develop individualised and group trainingprograms that address specific business needs
4. Deliver standards per company training manuals,targeting and reporting on tangible results
5. Implement effective and purposeful trainingmethods around Onboarding, Menu Changes, Product tastings, and Team Briefings.
6. Evaluate organisational performance to ensurethat training meets business needs and improves performance
7. Assess employees’ skills, performance andproductivity to identify areas of improvement
8. Effectively communicate with team members,trainers and management.
9. Help troubleshoot issues on-site by workingshifts/shadowing service
Coaching anddeveloping :
10. Oversee, train, coach, and mentor the trainingmentors in your area.
11. Interview, recruit and develop a network ofhighly passionate trainers per department within their allocated area with theOperations team.
12. Leading initiatives to further develop promisingteam members into management roles
13. Relationship Building:To build relationships with General Manager andOperations to ensure training is taking place in the restaurants and theappropriate training is being requested and delivered.
14. Be training support to the restaurants for newteam members
15. Work alongside the Learning & Developmentteam to ensure the same message is delivered across the board
To monitor, evaluate and assess training activitiesincluding :
16. Perform skills assessment tests
17. Help define Career Paths and support withsuccession planning
18. Drive E-learning and compliance training acrosssites.
19. Monitor the completion of 90-Day Reviews withteam members and managers
20. Coffee chats between management and teams.
21. Induction training or any other central trainingactivities.
22. To collate and report on employee feedbackobtained when evaluating training activities.
