Operational Change Manager
HM Revenue & Customs is seeking an Operational Change Manager to coordinate and administer change within the Department for Transport Unity Business Services Operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and administer Change requests (RFC and RFOC), documenting the status in the Change Tracker from receipt to delivery.
* Collaborate with HR/Payroll, Customer Services, Finance and Accounts Payable to assess the impact of change requests.
* Act as the central point for receipt of RFCs/RFOCs, reviewing and escalating issues to the Change Lead.
* Support the Change Lead with planning, implementation, business readiness and scheduling of change.
* Provide management information and reports to Senior Stakeholders and assist in creating monthly MI.
* Monitor and identify Continuous Improvement items related to Change delivery.
* Support Test Management for Release Dependent RFCs for SAP and Agresso.
* Contribute to shared services vision and values, encouraging best practice in change management.
* Attend Requirement Refinement, Backlog Confirmation and the Change Release Board on behalf of DfT UBS Ops when the Change Lead is absent.
Required Experience & Skills
* Experience coordinating change and release processes, including support for SAP or Agresso.
* Knowledge of employee services/payroll, finance, and procurement processes.
* Strong organisational, time management, prioritisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Numeracy and analytical skills with experience in change & release management.
* Operational knowledge of Shared Service Centres.
* Experience driving high performance and continuous improvement.
