The Role
The main purpose of the role is to ensure that PeoplePlus has effective controls in place to ensure it maintains its certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
You will manage and support the introduction of new ISO Standards and maintain existing certifications through the ISO Working Group.
Tracking audit recommendations (from external auditors, and/or from internal audit review activities) to ensure implementation is achieved against targets and that the remediation is effective.
Assist in the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up activity for external audits and producing documents/supporting information as required.
Carry out internal ISO audits to check adherence and compliance across the business.
Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non-conformities found through internal ISO audits.
Provide clear and concise reports on your findings, escalate risks appropriately. Using your audit knowledge, design recommendations that are pragmatic and address the root causes of the underlying non-compliance identified.
Collaborating with other departments within the business to promote best practices and to help drive improvement activities (for example, working with the H&S to ensure that First Aid courses are being scheduled for colleagues to attend).
