Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance / Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Compliance team within a regulated financial services environment. This is an entry-level role suited to someone looking to build a career in compliance, legal, or risk within financial services.
You will provide day-to-day administrative support, help maintain accurate records, and assist with routine compliance and legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities
· Compliance Support
· Assist with maintaining compliance files, policies, and internal registers
· Help collect, file, and update KYC/AML and client due diligence documentation
· Support tracking of compliance deadlines, training completion, and certifications
· Assist with preparing materials for audits, reviews, and internal checks
· Legal & Governance Support
· Provide administrative support for contract and document management
· Assist with organizing legal files and maintaining document control
· General Administrative Duties
· Promotions and marketing approval
· Data entry and record maintenance across compliance and legal systems
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a compliance perspective
Skills & Experience
Required
· Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
· Willingness to learn compliance and legal processes in financial services
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable
· Interest in compliance, legal, or financial services
· Exposure to financial services, law, or regulatory environments (academic or professional)
· Familiarity with basic compliance concepts (AML/KYC) is a plus but not required
