Senior Quantity Surveyor 6 month contract Manchester/Redding Inside IR35 Harvey Nash's client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Engineers, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and wider project teams Review and manage upstream and downstream contracts, identifying risks and negotiating favourable terms Lead commercial delivery across projects Work closely with Project Managers to ensure effective cost control and commercial performance Support monthly project review processes, identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies Deliver accurate commercial reporting across individual projects and the wider portfolio Support budgeting and forecasting activities alongside finance and operational teams Requirements Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on infrastructure projects Strong working knowledge of NEC3 Option A contracts Demonstrated expertise in cost control, financial management, and commercial governance Experience supporting or leading dispute resolution processes Ability to influence stakeholders and lead on commercial strategy within complex project environments
