The Role
As an Insurance Account Executive, you will take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, focusing on both growth and retention. You will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic insurance advice and building long-term, trusted relationships.
You will be supported by a highly experienced team including Account Managers, a New Business Broker, Contact Manager and a dedicated Claims Team - enabling you to focus on what you do best: advising clients and driving business forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Place a broad range of commercial insurance risks across the market
* Provide expert, tailored advice to clients on their insurance programmes and risk exposures
* Act as a key point of contact for clients and insurer partners
* Deliver exceptional service standards, including the efficient handling of mid-term adjustments and client queries
* Manage individual client cases accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
* Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to internal compliance procedures
* Ensure all company policies and regulatory obligations are upheld at all times
CRITERIA
Our client is keen to speak with experienced insurance professionals who can demonstrate:
* Proven experience in an Account Handling or Account Executive role within the commercial/corporate insurance sector
* Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products
* Experience managing a varied portfolio, including larger and more complex risks
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong organisational and case management abilities
* The ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with clients and insurer partners
* CII qualification (or working towards) preferred
