About the Role
The London Borough of Enfield (LBE) is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join its Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within Adult Social Care. This is a frontline safeguarding role, working in partnership with key agencies to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred assessments and support plans in line with the Care Act 2014 and London Multi‑Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures, using your professional judgment, risk assessment, and decision‑making skills to manage complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct safeguarding and interventions for adults at risk.
* Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to safeguard adults.
* Apply Care Act 2014 principles and local safeguarding procedures.
* Promote empowerment and independence for adults, carers, and advocates.
* Maintain accurate records and case documentation.
* Explore innovative ways of working to improve services.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
* Strong experience in adult safeguarding and multi‑agency working.
* Sound knowledge of Care Act 2014, safeguarding legislation and current best practices.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, supportive team and manage complex caseloads.
* Solution‑focused, creative, and committed to continuous improvement.
