Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Supply Teachers for secondary schools across East London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, day-to-day work in the education sector.
Role: Supply Teacher
Location: Chigwell, Plaistow
Type: Day-to-Day Work
Salary: £140 – £170
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
2. Ensure a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
3. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
4. Support students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
5. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
Requirements:
6. QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or equivalent
7. Previous experience working with young people (preferably in an educational setting).
8. Strong classroom management skills.
9. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classrooms.
10. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
