Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dungannon for a Lean Transformation Engineer. The individual will lead and implement lean practices, oversee continuous improvement projects, and optimize operational efficiencies. Daily responsibilities include analyzing processes, utilizing lean tools to eliminate waste, recommending enhancements, and managing projects to align with the company's operational excellence goals.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and deploying lean processesaligned with business objectives.
* Championing lean methodologies such as5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
* Analysing manufacturing, fabrication and business support processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
* Leadingcross-functional improvement projectsto optimise throughput, reduce lead times, and improve quality.
* Establishing KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures to track progress and sustain gains.
* Acting as achange leader, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* Supporting and coaching managers and supervisors to adopt new ways of working.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and supply chain to implement process enhancements.
* Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and training materials.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process-related issues.
* Ensure all process changes comply with regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering or continuous improvement roles, ideally within a regulated industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
* Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis software.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central) and digital manufacturing tools.
* Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001
* Experience in modular manufacturing, fabrication, or project-based production environments would be advantageous.
