Profiles Personnel are recruiting a Bar Manager for the Silchester, a beautiful countryside events venue hosting weddings, private celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the bar operation, manage stock and staff, and deliver excellent guest experiences across a varied events calendar.
Please note: The job is in a rural location, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage bar service across weddings and events
* Train and supervise bar staff (including coffee & cocktail service)
* Manage stock ordering, stock takes and cost control
* Maintain high service standards and guest engagement
* Drive upselling and bar profitability
* Ensure licensing, health & safety and hygiene compliance
* Maintain clean, organised bar and cellar areas
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years hospitality experience
* Personal Licence holder - essential
* Full UK driving licence - essential (rural location)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Passion for great service and events
