ExtraCare are looking for a positive and organised individual with an interest in pursuing a career in HR to join as a HR Apprentice. The HR Apprentice would join our award-winning charity, The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, and contribute to our mission of creating ‘better lives for older people'. This opportunity is on a full-time, 2 year fixed term contract, based at our Head Office in Binley, Coventry.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and supportive assistance to the HR function as a whole, and provide an efficient and streamlined service with regard to all HR related tasks.

Role Details
* Role HR Apprentice
* Hours 37.5 per week
* Location Head Office (occasional travel to locations)
* Salary £14,723 per annum in year one; increasing in year two to National/Living wage
Key Duties
This role has a wide remit across all HR areas which will include tasks from within the HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development teams and workstreams. The successful candidate will provide administrative and supportive assistance to the HR function as a whole and provide an efficient and streamlined service with regard to all HR related tasks.
As part of this role, you will also be expected to undertake and achieve a Level 3 HR Apprenticeship (which can also include the CIPD's Level 3 Certificate in People Practice).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills are required. We are looking for a HR Apprentice with administrative and organisational skills, previous administration experience is desirable.
The ideal HR Apprentice candidatewill have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. They should have an honest and open approach to communication, and a positive attitude to tackling challenges. They should have the ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner.
