What you'll be doing
1. Assist in the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewal and Enhancement Works as allocated by the Renewals Manager.
2. Responsible for planning and directing the activities of track staff.
3. Manage the work to meet agreed financial targets, performance KRAs and KPIs.
4. Ensure all works are carried out safely in accordance with safety rules and regulations
5. Undertake the delivery of works monitoring that any staff deployed on the CRSA worksites are trained and competent.
6. Optimise the utilisation of resources in delivery of all works.
7. Undertake safety inspection as stipulated in Alliance procedures and requirements.
8. Undertake accident/incident investigations as required.
9. Assist with the provision of technical and delivery support to the Track and Drainage Senior Engineer, Senior Supervisor and Renewals Manager Team as required.
Who we are looking for
10. Previous experience in permanent way maintenance/track renewals at least performing at Assistant Site Supervisors level.
11. Knowledge of Track Renewals discipline.
12. Knowledge of health & safety at work (HASAW) rules and regulations.
13. Ability to write reports in a clear and concise manner.
14. Personal Track Safety (PTS) certified and Controller of Site Safety (COSS) qualified.
15. PTS, COSS and Engineering Supervisor (SWL2).
16. A proficient user of Microsoft Office
17. Driving Licence (essential)
