We are recruiting for a Landfill Supervisor – DAYS to join and lead our fantastic team based at our Hendy Landfill site near Pontyclun. The site is easily accessible and is close to Pontyclun, Llantrisant, Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Key responsibilities
* Leading and active supervisory of the operational team
* Oversee the daily demands from our business, customers and hauliers
* Operate the landfill weighbridge when required
* Manage all aspects of daily operations, including operational costs
* Drive operational performance through agreed KPI’s
* Timely resolution of queries assigned to the sector
* Take responsibility for own safety and that of colleagues and business partners
* Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard

Ideal candidate
Experience required: COTC in Inert Waste. Previous landfill and supervisory experience would prove highly beneficial, but training in the necessary skills and requirements can be offered for the right candidate.
Full knowledge of: Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work systems, working knowledge of H&S and Environmental policies.

* NVQ in fixed and mobile plant operations
* WAMITAB (CIWN)

* Able to effectively communicate
* Good working knowledge of IT systems and software packages
