Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician

Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work alongside Manufacturing Service Engineers and Leaders to maintain, repair, and optimize machinery and equipment across the facility.
Responsibilities
* Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of high-tech manufacturing equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
* Use precision diagnostic instruments, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to resolve faults efficiently.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and reliability.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Experience
We’re looking for candidates with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance, ideally working with electrical and mechanical systems in a high-tech environment. You’ll be someone who is used to dealing with high-tech machinery and is eager to learn, with full support and expert training and rewards including a shift allowance of £6,650 per year.
Qualifications
* Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
* Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Completed an advanced-level apprenticeship with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
* Comfort using computers and digital maintenance tools.
* Understand HSE standards and regulations and ensure compliance.
* Work well as part of a team and adapt to new challenges.
* Shift work in 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern covering days and nights.
