* Position 1: 24 hours per week (over 3 days)
Hours: Monday hrs and Wednesday/Friday hrs
Driving Licence: Essential (two-site role) with business insurance
About the Role
Greens Norton & Weedon Medical Practice (GNWMP) is looking for enthusiastic, committed, and flexible individuals to join our friendly Reception and Administration team.
We are a two-site rural practice caring for approximately 14,700 patients. Due to the nature of the role, the ability to travel between both sites is essential, so a full UK driving licence and access to transport are required.
We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a GP surgery or healthcare environment is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Reception Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a professional and compassionate service while supporting the wider clinical and administrative teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the reception desk and greeting patients in a courteous and professional manner
* Handling telephone and in-person appointment requests efficiently
* Processing online and electronic appointment and prescription requests
* Effectively signposting patients to the most appropriate clinician or service
* Managing patient correspondence and emails
* Updating patient records accurately on SystmOne
* Scanning and attaching documentation to patient records
* Supporting clinical and administrative colleagues as required
* Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
* Assisting with audits, reporting, and data entry
* Contributing to health campaigns (e.g., flu clinics, awareness days)
* Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection at all times
Essential Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Professional, polite, and patient-focused approach
* Ability to work well within a busy team environment
* Flexibility to cover both sites as needed
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Business car insurance
Desirable
* Previous experience working in a GP surgery or healthcare environment
* Knowledge of SystmOne (clinical system)
* Administrative or customer service experience
