Job Title: Yard Operative
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £31,200 per annum (£15 per hour)
Hours: Monday- Friday 08:00am to16:00pm (8 hours per day with a 1 hour paid break)
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload shipping containers and trucks safely and efficiently
* Pick, prepare, and stage outgoing orders for dispatch
* Receive, check, and process incoming goods
* Assist with the inspection and maintenance of the rental fleet
* Maintain the yard in a clean, organized, and safe condition
* Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks
* Support day-to-day yard and warehouse operations
Key Skills:
* Driving Licence required
* Forklift Licence required
* Proficient with computer systems
* Experienced in professional yard work
* Open-minded and willing to learn about our products
* Enthusiastic about joining a positive team and contributing new ideas
