Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a Collect in Store Consultant to join our team in Edinburgh.
Responsible for the complete process for online orders that are for customer collection. The consultant will be multi-skilled, so that there is consistency in collect in store service and back-office functions. The Consultant will be accountable for the logistical and analytical functions, for the customer collection multi-channel offer in the store. This will involve working closely with the Stock movement and Department managers on adherence to policy and process. This ensures that the support and service/selling functions are working to the same plan.

This is a permanent position working 16 hours per week. The rate of pay for this role is £11.94 per hour. You will also be eligible for our commission scheme from day 1, earning 0.5% commission on all own bought sales, as well as the potential for enhanced levels of commission when both individual and team targets are achieved.

What you will be doing
As a Collect in Store Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers who choose to collect their order in store. You will:
* Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given at all times. Deal promptly with any customer complaints or issue related to Collect in Store
* Actively champion exceptional customer service through customer feedback, observations and review service standards identifying areas for improvement.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with the Stock movement and Retail Managers as well as liaising directly with customers to create a seamless collection experience.
* Efficient management of the Collect in Store inbox.
* Understanding of pick / pack process – and relevant KPI’s associated to Collect in Store
* Carry out regular audits on customer orders and provide visible reports on a weekly basis.
* Ensure that the orders are displayed effectively to achieve the fastest potential service.
* Ensure the department meets statutory requirements for Risk Assessment standards and GDPR guidelines.
* Understand and adhere to security and store regulations and procedures related to them.
* Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it.
* Flexibility is a must; customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!
