We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker who is ready to combine hands-on barista work with empowering others into meaningful employment. This is a pioneering role where you’ll bring flexibility, creativity, and a can-do attitude to shape our programme and maximise our impact. What you’ll do Serve and brew delicious, barista-quality coffee from our custom coffee bike. Provide person-centred employment support to neurodivergent adults moving into work or training. Deliver monthly work-coaching sessions to build confidence and skills in customer service, barista work, and workplace readiness. Support participants to overcome barriers such as travel to work, health disclosures, and budgeting. Facilitate employment taster days and work experience opportunities in partnership with local organisations. Achieve tangible outcomes: at least 2 adults into sustained employment and 10 individuals gaining work experience in your first year. Track progress using our evidence-based employability model, ensuring positive long-term outcomes. What we’re looking for Experience working or volunteering with neurodivergent people or individuals with learning disabilities. Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to person-centred support. Coaching, mentoring, or teaching experience with marginalised groups. Awareness of barriers to employment and strategies to reduce them. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire. Practical knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, and manual handling. IT and admin skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Flexibility to work 37.5 hours per week and adapt in a dynamic environment. Ideally: experience in hospitality, barista work, or customer service.
