Position: Newly Qualified Optometrist
Location: Welshpool, Powys
Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience plus up to £10,000 Golden Hello (terms apply)
Working hours: Full and part-time working patterns available
Experience level: Open to newly qualified Optometrists who are registered with the GOC

Responsibilities and opportunities
Whether you are a Newly Qualified or more experienced Optometrist, we will support and encourage you to get accredited and involved in services for minor eye conditions, pre and post-cataract, glaucoma referral refinement and monitoring and more. We change thousands of lives through better sight and hearing every year. With the upcoming changes to eyecare in the country, there is no better time to practise in Wales; if you’re not already WECS accredited we’ll support you with your studies - it’s easier than you think.
Location details
Welshpool is a perfect town for exploring Mid Wales. Discover countryside canal walks, modern art, historic castles and heritage railways on your days off. The town is in Powys, Wales, 4 miles from the England-Wales border. Public transport access is straightforward with the Cambrian Line connecting to Birmingham, Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth; the train station and bus terminus are a short walk from the store.
