You will be joining the Creative Arts department as an Art & Photography Teacher on a maternity cover contract, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time depending on your availability. The role begins in September 2025, with the potential for a permanent position following 26 weeks in temporary cover.Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging Art and Photography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Supporting students in developing their creative portfolios and technical skills
* Marking and assessing student work in line with curriculum standards
* Attending parents' evenings and contributing to school exhibitions and events
* Participating in school trips and enrichment activities
* Becoming an active member of the school community

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* UK classroom experience teaching Art and/or Photography
* A passion for creative education and the ability to inspire students
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Availability to work from September for the duration of the maternity cover
