Our prestigious Facilities Services client is looking to recruit a permanent Site Maintenance Engineer - HVAC Team.
The role:
You'll use your extensive knowledge and experience of building services to maintain and enhance the
facilities, services and utilities for the site's multiple buildings. You will work across our clients diverse and
interesting site with many technical facilities, including engineering laboratories, offices, and utilities
areas. Most days will be different, and you will get to interact with a wide range of users and suppliers
as you plan and deliver various projects ranging from delivering complex new facilities to statutory
compliance work.
You will join a small supportive team where professional development and training is provided and
encouraged for both technical and core skills.
Site Maintenance Engineer role responsibilities:
Undertake maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant in accordance with the agreed maintenance regime, including scheduling new tasks
Ensuring that machinery and equipment meets safety regulations
Intervening in the event of breakdowns, failures or malfunctions
Repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components
Documenting maintenance activities
Check the facilities performance using the Building Management System daily for any alarms
and rectify as applicable
Maintenance and monitoring of HVAC systems to ensure continued acceptable temperature
delivery
Carry out regular weekly walk rounds of the site to identify any facility asset deterioration and report, repair as needed and be first line for any alterations or new equipment
Installation of new systems / equipment
Respond to user requests for repair, maintenance and infrastructure enhancements
Ensure spares are identified and managed in line with materials requiredSite Maintenance Engineer requirements:
Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems
A proven background in plant, facilities and building maintenance services
Experience of management and completion planned preventative maintenance to a high
standard
Respond to user requests for repair, maintenance and infrastructure enhancements
A strong Mechanical and Electrical skillset, ideally with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering
City & Guilds or BTEC National qualification or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline
Experience in fault finding
Enjoys working on multiple diverse projects at a variety of scales.

Ability to remain focused in high pressure situations
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office programs
Good Health & Safety knowledge and attitude - understanding of and experience of carrying
