The client is a growing multi-site business who can can offer long term job security and progression opportunities for the right candidate.About the JobReporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager you will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:Maintain purchase ledger and ensure timely supplier reconciliationsProcess monthly supplier paymentsReconcile nominal ledgers to P&L and balance sheet, investigating variancesProduce commercial reports, including project, aged creditors, and paymentsAssist with KPI reporting and development of weekly and monthly insightsSupport preparation of management accountsPrepare and submit Intrastat data to HMRCPost invoices and resolve supplier queries efficientlyCarry out additional ad hoc duties as neededEssential CriteriaA minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, ideally Purchase Ledger focusedStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software - SAGE 200/SICON preferablyFor further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence.Skills:invoices VAT ExcelWHJS1_NI
