TPF Recruitment, the Sussex accountancy practice specialist recruitment agency, is working with a well established accountancy firm to recruit an Assistant Manager into its Financial Reporting Team. The role can be based in either Chichester or Horsham.
This is a technically focused position supporting Audit teams through the preparation and review of high quality accounts. As the Financial Reporting offering expands externally, there will be increasing exposure to large and complex assignments and collaboration with external auditors.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of financial reporting work for audit
2. Prepare and review complex statutory accounts, including consolidations
3. Supervise and support junior team members, providing feedback and training
4. Act as a key contact for Audit teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
5. Contribute to process improvements and future go to market activity
