Are you ready to take the lead in creating a safer and more vibrant workplace? Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) is on the lookout for a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for health and safety to join us as our new Health and Safety Manager
In this exciting senior role, youll be at the heart of our safety initiatives, driving processes, and ensuring we meet all health and safety regulations. Youll lead a dynamic team of Health and Safety advisors, develop and implement innovative policies and procedures, and use data to keep our performance on point. Your mission? To identify key risks, lead mitigation efforts, and continuously improve our safety culture.
Youll also get to showcase your skills by preparing and presenting performance reports and KPIs to senior management and engaging with key stakeholders both inside and outside the Service.
What Were Looking For:
:Ideally qualified Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) with significant experience in a similar role
:A strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
:Excellent communication and leadership skills
:The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
