The Senior Manager, SAP Finance is a critical role to ensure the support, sustainment and growth of the SAP Capabilities at BeiGene. The candidate must have SAP Finance expertise as a core skillset with a strong understanding for the cross functional dependencies of other modules/processes into Finance. The SAP Finance Solutions Senior Manager will manage, support and improve capabilities within SAP while engaging with various stakeholders globally for processes and integrations. A strong understanding of SAP FI is required with particular emphasis on the ability to hands on work in configuration, navigate & advise the end-to-end processes within Finance. Key areas of focus would be enabling entity core capabilities, intercompany reconciliation, tax code setup, statutory reporting and month end processes. Experience with FP&A & Consolidation processes a plus. This candidate would be developing/executing roadmaps and enhancing capabilities in partnership with business stakeholders and partner with other GTS solution managers handling all aspects of the solution lifecycle, business engagement and audit.

The Senior Manager, SAP Finance Solutions of GTS G&A functions is expected to:

1. Work with business leads to seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity

2. Research solutions (process, technology, data) to evaluate deficiencies and identify areas of improvements

3. Build/Define/Improve business processes for the SAP Finance + cross functional capabilities

4. Gain project management experience across planning and execution phases of initiative

5. Serve as a solution owner for a dedicate application/ business process area

6. Adhere to audit standards for the applications supported

Essential Functions of the job:

As a SAP Solutions Senior Manager, you will gain exposure to a variety of enterprise solutions and business groups helping drive alignment of internal process with targeted solution initiatives. You will:

7. Be a GTS Finance Solution Manager with solution accountability, operational run and future improvements

8. Partner with business and other solution managers to develop the appropriate roadmap of activities including operational support, minor/major changes and new implementations

9. Lead discussions on Finance processes, month end, intercompany reconciliation, data setup, and integrations, utilizing system capabilities

10. Have strong hands-on working knowledge of SAP Finance with specific expertise in General Ledger, Currencies, Fixed Assets, Month End Processing, Intercompany Reconciliation, FX, Tax setup/reporting, Statutory Reporting. Strong cross module integration on dependencies and capabilities required.

11. Ability to lead SAP Finance general discussions for designated solution areas

12. Engage in cross functional discussions for processes & integrations

13. Explore areas of less familiarity to help strengthen BeiGene’s solution maturity

14. Gain exposure to technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

15. Maintain and improve management plans for projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels

16. Accountable for specific activities/applications within the Audit process formalizing procedures and service as point of contact

17. Perform, evaluate, and communicate through various stages of initiatives.

18. Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production.

19. Be involved in various stages of an initiative: analyzing existing processes and designing, through to delivering and integrating the solutions

20. Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills

21. Lead project work from origination through delivery.

22. Performing application design activities (e.g., writing functional designs)

23. Collect and conduct gap business requirements and software to drive fit/gap analysis

24. Creating functional requirements as an input to application design

25. Assisting with build, test, and deploy activities

26. Performing testing work

27. Management of vendor resources and prioritization of initiatives

Your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you may find yourself:

28. Partnering with Business + GTS colleagues on prioritizations

29. Driving implementation of new technologies (from business intake, RFP, vendor selection, implementation, run)

30. Adopting existing solutions and processes for operational run

31. Analyzing and documenting current business processes and technologies

32. Designing and testing new business processes, capabilities, and technologies

33. Developing communications and training materials

34. Building portions of the application

35. Focusing on program management

Not only will you be able to quickly develop your business & technology understanding, but you will also build deep insights into the business functions served in a global setting.

Computer Skills:

37. Microsoft Office, Process Modeling Tools a plus

Preferred Skills:

38. Bachelor's degree in related field

39. 7+ years specific SAP Finance experience (expertise in General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Currencies, Month End Processing, Intercompany Reconciliation, FX, Tax setup/reporting, Statutory Reporting)

40. 7+ years systems implementation experience working on SAP Finance, Tax, Intercompany and understanding of how SAP Supports country specific rules

41. Experience with additional relevant Technologies a plus (Blackline, Gappify, Vertex, SAP DRC, etc.)

42. Strong understanding of accounting processes & principles

43. Project management experience preferred

44. Full development lifecycle experience: requirements, design, build, test, deploy

45. Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience preferred

46. Experience with requirements analysis, testing and end user training

47. Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio

48. Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management

49. Extensive experience with data visualization

50. Highly proficient technical writing capabilities

57. 7+ year of experience within a technical or consulting environment

58. 7+ years of experience with systems integrations, implementations and interactive designs

59. 7+ years of experience in the systems and software development life cycle including design, development, coding, testing and implementation

Salary Range: $134,800.00 - $179,800.00 annually

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
