This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic team as a Key Worker, working with young people who require targeted support in our nurturing base and beyond.
Requirements:
1. Educated to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
2. Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, supporting vulnerable young people and their families.
3. Understanding of issues facing pupils with additional support needs.
4. Experience with the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) framework.
5. Knowledge of behaviour support strategies.
Skills:
* Excellent communication, ICT, assessment, and recording skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enthusiastic, highly motivated, with a flexible approach.
Desirable:
* Experience working with young people with ASN.
* ASL qualification.
This position is temporary for 7 months, subject to business needs and funding.
