The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Boatbuilder to support the construction and outfitting of fibreglass vessels up to 40ft in size. This is a hands-on role within a busy marine build environment, suited to someone with solid experience in GRP boatbuilding and outfitting who is open to a temp-to-perm opportunity.
You’ll be working as part of a skilled production team, contributing to high-quality builds from hull through to fit-out.
Key Responsibilities
* Outfitting of fibreglass boats up to 40ft
* Installation of internal and external components
* Working with GRP / composite structures
* General boatbuilding and finishing tasks
* Reading and working from drawings and specifications
* Ensuring work is completed to quality and safety standards
* Supporting build and production schedules
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience as a Boatbuilder, ideally within GRP / fibreglass
* Experience working on small to mid-sized vessels
* Strong hands-on outfitting experience
* Confident using hand and power tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Marine or boatyard background preferred
Working Hours
* 40-hour week
* Monday to Friday
* 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch break)
* Overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate
