Job Description:
Your new company
Finding the right role takes careful consideration – and we’re lifelong partners that can help you on your journey towards success. Here, with you every step of the way, we can connect you with opportunities that match your priorities and goals. Because at Hays, we’re working for your tomorrow.
You will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across Dartford, Kent.
Hays has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across the Dartford area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term, or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small mixed-form village schools to large, multiple-form entry schools.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Primary Supply Teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You should have recent classroom experience within the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You need to be a creative and positive teacher able to adapt to new surroundings and situations, demonstrating professionalism at all times. Strong classroom management skills and good communication skills are essential, especially when liaising with TAs and school staff.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience and the responsibilities of each assignment. Holiday pay will accrue, with the option to take it at any time of the year. You will receive free, up-to-date safeguarding training, and there is an option to join our ‘guarantee pay scheme’. You will enjoy working in a variety of primary, infant, and junior schools, with support from a dedicated primary teaching consultant who specializes in Kent. If you refer other education professionals looking for supply, long-term, or permanent work, you can receive £250 worth of vouchers for each successful referral.
