We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework in the North West of England Location: Manchester and Cumbria (Multiple locations available) Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Join our team as a Site Engineer and play a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects. You'll provide technical expertise, accurate setting out, and ensure all works meet design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Working collaboratively with our site team, you'll help coordinate engineering, construction, and commercial functions to achieve successful project outcomes. What will you be responsible for? As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within our project delivery team, supporting them in achieving technical excellence and successful project completion. Your day to day will include: Carrying out site engineering tasks including setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings Supporting the coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly Maintaining site records such as daily diaries, as-built information, and inspection and test plans Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of works Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies whilst ensuring compliance with site regulations What are we looking for? This role of Site Engineer is great for you if: You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline You have previous experience in a site-based engineering role within a relevant industry You're proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment (e.g. total station, GPS) You have a strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes You hold a CSCS card, relevant safety qualifications, and a full driving licence We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
