Advert As an Administrator within the Pain Specialty, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive a smooth and high‑quality experience throughout their care pathway. Your responsibilities will include: Providing comprehensive administrative support, including responding to telephone and email enquiries, processing referrals and booking outpatient appointments. Coordinating inpatient activity, such as arranging residential programmes and booking clinic rooms. Working closely with clinicians to support efficient patient flow, meet waiting time standards and maintain an excellent level of patient experience. Registering patients on the Millennium system in a timely and accurate manner. Maintaining accurate records and monitoring patient pathways, ensuring compliance with the 18‑week RTT standards. Ordering items via the UNIT4 purchasing system, including stationery, equipment, accommodation, travel, course bookings and private patient invoicing. Maintaining activity data and records for the Pain Specialty. Attending and contributing to meetings across the service, including taking minutes when requested by your line manager. Providing administrative cover across the Specialty and wider Directorate as required. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be an essential part of a supportive team, helping to deliver a gold‑standard service for our patients.
