Exciting opportunity alert! Join us as Thames Water's integrated management system (IMS) team manager. You will be able to spearhead developing, maintaining, and improving our management systems, ensuring external certification and seamless compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. What you’ll be doing as an Integrated Management System (IMS) Manager
1. Lead the Integrated Management System (IMS) team.
2. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Thames Water’s documented management systems.
3. Ensure that documented business processes and procedures support compliance with regulations and environmental permit requirements, and meet business plans and regulatory targets.
4. Deliver the internal audit programme and assurance reporting.
5. Manage the external audit programme and maintain external certification of the company management systems.
6. Embed learning from non-conformances to prevent reoccurrence.
7. Provide appropriate specialist advice and training through the team.
8. Develop a roadmap to increase the organisation’s maturity in asset management.
Hybrid role – Clearwater Court, with on-site requirements as needed. 36 hours/week, Monday – Friday.
What you should bring to the role
* STEM-related Degrees / post-graduate education (or equivalent).
* Experience managing a small team.
* Knowledge of management systems (asset management, quality, environmental).
* Experience in external auditing.
* Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Ability to support and embed change, influence, and promote the right culture and behaviours.
* Report writing skills.
* Knowledge of developing management systems and achieving external certification.
* Previous experience in the water industry or utilities is advantageous.

* Salary from £52,000 to £70,000 per annum.
