People Partner - Public Sector | Strategic HR & OD Leadership
We're seeking an experienced People Partner to provide strategic HR and OD support across a large, complex, public sector environment. This is a senior role with influence at board and leadership level, where you'll help shape workforce strategy, deliver business transformation, and lead complex employee relations.
Responsibilities
* Partner with senior leaders to deliver the People & OD strategy.
* Lead on workforce planning, organisational development and major change programmes.
* Act as a subject matter expert on complex ER, including TUPE, tribunals and union negotiations.
* Drive workforce analysis, benchmarking and performance improvement.
* Coach, influence and develop leaders to foster high-performing, engaged teams.
* Champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and embed values-led leadership.
Qualifications
* Chartered MCIPD (or equivalent HR/OD qualification)
* Strong knowledge of employment law; formal employment law qualification desirable.
* Significant HR & OD experience in a large, complex, public sector environment (NHS experience strongly preferred).
* Proven track record in workforce strategy, planning and delivering transformation.
* Experience managing complex ER issues, including TUPE and tribunal cases.
* Skilled coach, mediator and facilitator with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability and political acumen.
* Confident at interpreting and applying HR, financial and workforce data to shape strategy.
