Job Title: Care Home Manager Location: Chesterfield Job Type: Permanent Salary: £35,,000 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee the operations of our care home in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will possess strong home management skills and a proven track record in managing care homes effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home ensuring high standards of care and service delivery. - Lead and motivate the care team to achieve excellent care outcomes and maintain a supportive work environment. - Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation. - Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs. - Manage budgets and financial performance of the care home. - Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders. - Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided. Qualifications and Skills: - NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred). - Minimum of 1 year experience in home management. - Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulations. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Proven track record of successful care home management.
