Support worker - Farnborough
Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Support worker to work within our brand new residential care home.
support worker vacancy details:
* £13.25 per hour
* 40 hours per week available
* Nights positions available
* 8pm to 8am
Support worker main duties:
* Responsibilities:
o Provide person-centered support to individuals in their daily routines, helping them achieve their personal goals.
o Assist with activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, personal care, and medication administration.
o Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any changes in service users' needs or behavior.
o Support individuals to access their local community and build meaningful relationships.
o Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
Requirements:
o Previous experience in support worker roles specialising in mental health is essential.
o A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with service users.
o Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins if required.
o A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
