Responsibilities
1. Drive Account Growth: Take ownership of your book of business, surpassing sales targets by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones.
2. Engage Clients Proactively: Manage accounts with a hands-on approach, maximizing revenue retention while ensuring clients receive long-term value and satisfaction.
3. Contract Management: Oversee the contracting process for new sales and renewals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely client execution.
4. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with wider sales colleagues, product management, pre-sales, after-sales consultants, and support teams to deliver integrated solutions for your clients.
5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate sales forecasts, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
Industry Events: Represent Morningstar at prominent industry events, raising awareness and showcasing our solutions to generate new pipeline.

Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
* Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of selling Market Data solutions, preferably from providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or Factset.
* Experience working with Asset Managers and Wealth Managers in the UK is preferable.
* Proven track record of exceeding prior targets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in German is a plus.
* Proficient in selling to multiple financial industry segments and uncovering client challenges.
* Ability to effectively manage competing priorities to maximize sales and retention.
* Strong business instincts, good judgment, and a creative mindset.
* High ethical standards, high attention to detail, inquisitive and eager to learn.
