We are recruiting for a part-time Finance Assistant to join a forward-thinking, innovative organisation based in Maidstone for 3 months, on a temporary basis.
Role Overview
Working closely with the Accounts Lead, you will be experienced in Xero accounting software and capable of managing a high-volume workload efficiently. This process-driven role requires a detail-oriented individual who can focus on the task at hand. The position offers an opportunity to work for a market-leading employer in their field.
Responsibilities
1. Processing invoices
2. Assisting in day-to-day finance administration
3. Handling a high volume of invoicing
4. Paying suppliers in line with agreed terms
5. Creating invoices and entering data into Xero
6. Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
7. Performing one-off tasks such as chasing debtors
Additional Details
This is an office-based role, approximately 17 hours per week, spread across four days.
Candidate Requirements
Suitable candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and must be proficient in using Xero, as limited training will be provided.
