We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented data analyst to join our Program Solutions Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate data analysis to support the placement of insurance and reinsurance programs for our clients across different lines of business and territories, this will include presenting their findings to external and internal stakeholders This is a hybrid working position. How you'll make an impact Work closely with the Program Solutions team brokers to understand data needs and provide data-driven insights to support insurance and reinsurance placements. Use data analysis and visualization tools to analyse large datasets and provide insights on market trends, claims experience, loss ratios, and other key performance indicators. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop analytical tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the development and implementation of data quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Participate in all aspects of the data lifecycle, including data pipelining, data analysis, and data visualization, to ensure effective execution. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization. About you A degree in a related field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering. Previous experience gained in data analyst role gained in the insurance or reinsurance industry. Experience working in a dDelegated Authority/Programs. An advanced understanding of PowerBI and a proficiency in DAX Language and tools such as SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel with experience with Microsoft Azure toolkit, including data storage and analytics services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
