Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for one of our schools in Derbyshire. This full-time, fixed-term contract position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience before applying for a teaching qualification. After 12 weeks with Connex Education, you will transition to a direct contract with the school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
2. Ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
3. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials.
4. Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour.
5. Provide support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Requirements:
6. Must have a degree in any subject.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
9. Passion for education and supporting students’ learning.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development.
