Our client, a global supplier of specialized fermentation ingredients is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager home based in Europe, with experience in biofuels/distilling on an industrial scale to join the team.
Responsibilities will include:
• Manage sales of LBDS yeast, nutrients, enzymes and other process support products to biofuels producers and distillers in the territory.
• Manage technical support for LBDS products in Europe. Work with large biofuels companies and distilleries on process improvement. The technical support is a large part of the activity.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers in the distilled spirits and biofuels industries
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute market strategies
• Participate in product trials, assisting with planning, execution, and analysis
• Write technical reports summarizing trial results, product performance, and customer feedback
• Provide training and education to customers on product usage and process optimization
• Prepare sales plans and budgets
• Support brand promotion and product positioning in the market
• Participate in industry conferences, educational events, internal meetings and training sessions in Europe and outside Europe.
• Perform all other duties related to sales, technical support, and product application
Qualifications and experience:
• Languages: English + ideally other European language
• Experience in the production of biofuels and/or distilled spirits
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a strong plus)
• 3 to 5 years’ commercial and/or technical experience
• Valid driving license in Europe
• Available for travelling in Europe and worldwide
