The Role
As Head of Girls' PE, you will lead the delivery of high-quality Physical Education across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, with a focus on developing girls' sport and increasing engagement. Based in West London, you will oversee curriculum planning, staff development, and extracurricular provision.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the girls' PE curriculum across KS3-KS5
Deliver outstanding PE lessons and model best practice
Drive participation and excellence in girls' sport
Organise fixtures, clubs, and enrichment opportunities
Support and develop members of the PE department
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching PE across KS3-KS5
Experience or readiness for a Head of Girls' PE leadership role
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for girls' sport
High expectations of student achievement and participation
Organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
