We have an excellent opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a lovely team at a fantastic small animal veterinary practice in the City of Southampton in coastal Hampshire.
* excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week and including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH
* practice is established and very well equipped with new up to date technologies and equipment and orthopaedic equipment on site
* caseload is interesting and varied and would suit a Vet with a medical bias or a keen interest in imaging or cardiology or a passion for exotics
* this role would suit an experienced vet who is happy consulting, performing routine surgical procedures and comfortable with occasional sole charge.
* work alongside an AVP in small animal surgery and an interest in exotics.
* join a lovely, experienced and welcoming team with a wide variety of interest and specialisms including an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, postgraduate certificates in emergency medicine and surgery, as well as soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery

Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* good experience in practice
* confident to work some occasional sole charge
