Teaching Assistant Level 2 – North Lincolnshire Council
Location: Immingham, Lincolnshire
Salary: £15,000-15,979 per year
Contract: Permanent • Full-time
This Teaching Assistant L2 will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area with groups of children. This post will be based at East Halton Primary School as part of the Humber Estuary Federation. The successful candidate will hold a federation contract enabling them to work across the federation.
Responsibilities
* Support learning activities and assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom.
* Deliver care and support programmes to enable pupil access to learning.
* Work with groups of children in the classroom or outside the main teaching area as required.

Qualifications and requirements
* Experience of working with children in a school setting is desirable.
* Ability to work under supervision and follow instruction from teaching/senior staff.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
