Year 1 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Irlam (March Start)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Irlam to recruit a full-time Year 1 Teacher. This position begins in March and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
* Contributing to school initiatives and taking part in ongoing professional development
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience preferred)
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Ability to plan effective lessons for mixed‑ability groups
* Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Confident use of technology to enhance learning
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
