Groundworker (Dumper Driver) - Woking Rate: £21.25 per hour Location: Woking, Surrey Start: March | Duration: 8 Months Atkinson Baker Associates are recruiting a skilled Groundworker to join a project in Woking for a Specialist Home Builder. The Client Our client constructs bespoke, detached timber-frame homes. These are precision-engineered builds, meaning the quality of the groundworks (drainage, slab accuracy, and service entry points) is critical to the success of the superstructure. The Role We need a Groundworker who understands residential groundworks from start to finish. You will be responsible for: Reading site drawings to install drainage runs and utility services. Preparing ground beams and slabs to exact tolerances for the timber frame arrival. Operating a Forward Tipping Dumper to manage spoil and materials. Finishing external works (paving, paths, and driveways) to a high standard. Requirements Essential: CPCS or NPORS Dumper ticket. Essential: Ability to read drawings independently (essential for drainage/levels). Essential: Own hand tools (Laser level, shovel, drill etc.). Location Woking, Surrey.
