About the role
St John's Primary School and Nursery is a nurturing, inclusive and successful primary school and nursery in the
heart of Kenilworth. We are seeking to appoint a committed professional and enthusiastic individual to work
alongside our SENCO to provide SEN support and pastoral care to pupils in the school.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the welfare of pupils, be willing to go to the extra mile,

The successful candidate will:
An NVQ level 3 or higher qualification in childcare or equivalent
Experience of working in in an education setting
Have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement safeguarding and welfare of all
children
Have excellent communication skills
Experience of planning and support the learning and development needs of individual children
The ability to form excellent relationships with parents, carers, staff and stakeholders
Be a strong team player
Have a passion for excellence and share our vision
Are highly motivated and enthusiastic
Able to contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team
Be flexible and adaptable

Contract Type: 30 hours
Hours of Work: 8.30am until 3.30pm, term time only
Contract Term: Fixed Term
Contract Length: 1st September – 31st August 2026, as this is a new role within the school there is the
possibility for the contract to be extended.
Salary Range: Scale G
