Job Description:
Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident managing high-volume employee relations casework? We're looking for a dedicated Employee Relations (ER) Specialist / HR Advisor to join our team and provide expert guidance to our homes on a 3-6 month fixed-term contract.
At Caring Homes, our mission is simple: to make each home the best possible place to live and work for our residents and our teams. We strive to create an environment that feels like home, whether we live there or work there, through our behaviour and the environment we create. This includes our support team. We're a family.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues, including performance, absence, disciplinary, and grievances.
* Lead and manage high-risk, sensitive, and complex ER cases from investigation to resolution.
* Conduct thorough and fair investigations into disciplinary and grievance matters.
* Support conflict resolution efforts across the business, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with employment law and policies.
* Draft clear, well-reasoned outcomes and documentation related to ER cases.
* Operate confidently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in an HR/ER role within a multi-site organisation.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.
* Confident handling of complex and sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
* Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
If you are passionate about making a difference, value empathy, dedication, and professionalism, and are immediately available for a 3-6 month fixed-term contract, we would love to hear from you.
