About the Role
Warwick Business School is recruiting for an Assistant Professor in the Behavioural Science Group for the academic year 2025/26. The successful candidate will conduct world‑class research with lasting international impact, contribute to teaching within the group, and help sustain a highly interdisciplinary research environment that blends psychology, economics, data science and behavioural change.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop an ambitious, independent research agenda in behavioural economics, judgement and decision‑making, behavioural change, or data science of human behaviour.
* Publish at the top level and demonstrate a strong record of peer‑reviewed articles or high‑impact working papers.
* Deliver high‑quality teaching in behavioural science, including designing and teaching modules, supervising students and post‑doctoral researchers.
* Engage actively with the Behavioural Science Group’s weekly lab meetings, seminar series and collaborative projects.
* Support the growth of the group through outreach, funding proposals, and external partnerships.
Qualifications
* Completed a PhD in a relevant behavioural science discipline.
* Strong publication record and evidence of a funded research agenda.
* Experience in experimental economics, psychological decision‑making, behavioural change, or data science of human behaviour.
* Evidence of a capacity to teach behavioural science would be an advantage.
