Clinical Team Manager Role - South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust
We are seeking dedicated Clinical Team Managers (CTM) to join our station-based operational teams. This role is vital in shaping the future of urgent and emergency care across our communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide visible, compassionate leadership, supporting and empowering your team to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
2. Ensure daily operations meet clinical and operational performance objectives across key metrics.
3. Play an active role in the Trust's command provision, delivering strong leadership during incidents to ensure safety and welfare of team members and patients.
4. Support the well-being of station-based teams, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and cared for.
5. Collaborate with education colleagues to drive education, training, clinical appraisal, and development.
6. Deliver direct clinical care, provide support, guidance, and post-incident debriefing to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
7. Lead and manage complaints, team issues, and investigations professionally, ensuring resolution and learning.
8. Contribute to and lead local Clinical, Quality, and Cultural transformation initiatives, championing innovation and service improvements.
Experience & Skills
* Experience within a clinical or ambulance service setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting and leading people, improving patient care, and making a difference through positive change.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence in engaging colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
* A visible and approachable leadership style, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of quality improvement, clinical governance, performance metrics, and operational delivery.
